IT Operations Automation

Jul 2026 — Oct 2026

Ten automation use cases covering account provisioning, licensing, and endpoint configuration across Active Directory and Microsoft 365.

  • Led the automation workstream, delivering ten use cases across a multi-domain Active Directory and Microsoft 365 estate.
  • Ran requirements workshops with client stakeholders, turning business rules and platform constraints into signed-off use-case designs.
  • Built Power Automate intake workflows that parse HR and alert emails into structured tickets for the service desk.
  • Wrote PowerShell runbooks for account provisioning, group entitlement, and shared mailbox conversion across on-premises Active Directory and Exchange Online.
  • Integrated Microsoft Graph, Intune, and Defender for Endpoint for licensing, antivirus scans, and VPN profile sync.
  • Drove user acceptance testing, validating each use case against its specification through to sign-off.

Data Migration Platform

May 2026 — Jun 2026

Migration platform for moving legacy ITSM data into a cloud-based service management suite.

  • Designed an asynchronous API integration layer with rate limiting, retries, and fault recovery.
  • Built synchronisation logic for deduplication, change detection, and idempotent processing.
  • Designed a JSON-based configuration model to support different customer environments without code changes.
  • Optimised large data operations through batching, pagination, and asynchronous processing.
  • Directed every end-to-end migration delivery across incident, service request, and change records, supporting the team through mass and delta runs.

CMDB Middleware

Feb 2026 — Apr 2026

Middleware that keeps configuration and asset data synchronised across three enterprise systems.

  • Built four independently scheduled modules moving data between an ITSM platform, a data centre inventory, and a software asset manager.
  • Reconciled asset records across systems with no shared key, matching on hostname, serial number, and IP address.
  • Matched software titles with token-based fuzzy comparison, since the same product is named differently in every catalogue.
